Farm Updates
Cassava farm land Progress Update
Kobo Farmland Cassava Plantation – Progress Update 🚜🌱
We are excited to share a progress update from our Kobo Farmland Cassava Plantation following our recent farm visit. The field is looking exceptionally promising, with vigorous and lively cassava plants that reflect the quality of our land preparation, seed selection, and ongoing agronomic practices.
Current Farm Status:
✔ Healthy Growth: The cassava plants are thriving, with strong stems, broad green leaves, and an impressive uniformity across the farm. This indicates excellent soil fertility, proper spacing, and effective weed control measures.
✔ Optimal Vegetative Development: The plants are in a critical growth phase, establishing strong root systems that will support high tuber yield at harvest.
✔ Pest & Disease Management: So far, we have maintained a disease-free farm with proactive pest control strategies, ensuring our plants remain in top condition.
✔ Adequate Moisture & Nutrients: Regular assessments show that soil moisture levels and nutrient availability are supporting steady growth, thanks to our fertilization and soil management plan.
Next Steps – Increasing Plant Population:
To further maximize yield per hectare, we are actively working on increasing the plant population. This involves:
✅ Filling in gaps: Any missing stands due to germination gaps or environmental factors are being replanted to ensure full land utilization.
✅ Optimizing Spacing: While maintaining proper spacing for aeration and root expansion, we are ensuring a high-density planting model to boost productivity.
✅ Expanding Cultivation Areas: We are assessing additional land areas for possible expansion to scale production and meet growing demand.
With our strategic improvements and careful farm management, we are on track for a high-yield cassava harvest that promises excellent returns for our investors and partners.

Land preparation for Cassava
While we are expecting to begin planting by March 2025, land preparation has begun for our Cassava farming this planting season. A good farmer doesn't wait for rain to start before he starts preparing for for planting.
The scale of our cassava planting this season requires us to begin much earlier
